Primrose & Eve
Done being dismissed.

Be heard at your next appointment.

Perimenopause is a decade of symptoms your doctor gets fifteen minutes of. Primrose & Eve helps you understand your body day to day, then turns months of your own record into a clinical briefing your doctor can act on. Free, and your health data never leaves your phone.

Primrose & Eve onboarding screen — Years of symptoms. Fifteen minutes to explain them. Walk in with the evidence.
§ 01 The problem

Thirty-four symptoms. One shrug.

Perimenopause can surface as hot flashes, but also as anxiety, brain fog, joint pain, palpitations, tinnitus, even a burning tongue. Scattered across years and specialists, most women are handed an antidepressant and the door, with nothing tying any of it together.

And in too many places, it's never named at all. The shame and the silence do the rest. Primrose & Eve exists to close that gap: a quiet record, kept in your own hands, that turns a confusing season into evidence no one can wave away.

"You can't argue with a pattern. That's the whole point."

§ 02 The daily read

A reason to open it on the ordinary days.

Most days there is no appointment. Open the app anyway and the first thing you see is Today's Context: a short, honest read on what your body may be doing today, drawn from your own history. Never a score, never a confident prediction. Just context, so a hard day feels less like a mystery and more like something you can name.

Grounded in your own history

Your recent sleep, where you are in your cycle, and the patterns your record has already revealed. It reads your body, not a generic chart of someone else's.

Validation before advice

The job is not to predict your day. It is to say: you are not imagining it, and this is real. Then one small thing you can do about it.

Something to say from day one

With your permission it reads months of your Apple Health history, on your phone, so your first context lands before you have logged anything.

Generated on your device

Today's Context is produced entirely on your phone. Nothing about your day is sent anywhere to write it.

§ 03 How it works

Understanding that compounds. No daily homework.

There are no streaks to protect and no badges to chase. You read your context, you log a symptom only when something is worth noting, and the record quietly builds into something a doctor cannot wave away.

§ 04 In the app

Calm to use. Serious underneath.

A calm icon for every symptom, a severity scale you read at a glance, and Insights that only show the patterns your own data supports. Nothing that makes you feel bad for closing the app.

Primrose & Eve Insights — trigger analysis, health signals, and cycle pattern correlations, tested on your own data
Primrose & Eve doctor's report — symptom frequencies, trigger correlations, and time-of-day patterns
§ 05 The vocabulary

Thirty-four symptoms, one honest language.

Each symptom has a name and an icon. Including the ones that never make it into the appointment: the tinnitus, the electric shocks, the burning tongue. Naming the thing is often the first step to being taken seriously.

§ 06 The report

The part that changes the appointment.

Everything you've lived, distilled into one clean briefing built for the fifteen minutes you actually get.

Three answers your clinician can act on:

What's happening

Your symptoms, frequencies, severity and trends - reconstructed from real days, not a memory under pressure in the exam room.

What may be driving it

Triggers, time-of-day clusters, cycle phase, premenstrual flares, medication effects. Each one found by running your data through the same statistical tests an epidemiologist would, and surfaced only when the math says it's real.

What to ask

A short list of specific, informed questions for your doctor - so you lead the conversation instead of leaving with it unsaid.

    § 07 How we know it's real

Your report only shows what the data supports.

The Smart Report isn't an AI guess at your patterns. It's the readout of statistical tests run on every day you've logged. If a finding makes it in, it passed a stricter bar than chance alone. If a section is missing, the data didn't support it, and we don't pretend it did.

Triggers held to a statistical bar

We compare your hot flash rate on coffee days versus non-coffee days using the same chi-square test epidemiologists use, with a false-discovery correction across all your triggers. The ones that make it into your report passed a stricter bar than chance alone.

Cycle and premenstrual analysis, any cycle

When your cycles are regular, we compare your follicular and luteal phases. When they're not, which is common in perimenopause, we anchor backward to your logged periods and compare the week before each one against the rest.

HRT before and after, with the caveat printed

We compare your hot flash rate in the days before HRT against the days since, capped at a 90-day baseline to limit statistical noise. Early changes may partly reflect natural variation, and we tell your doctor that in writing.

Apple Health correlations, when they earn it

Resting heart rate, sleep, steps, and wrist temperature. Surfaced only when they pass the same statistical bar as your triggers, not whenever they happen to wobble.

    Time-of-day clusters, when they cluster

Your hot flashes either cluster in a window or they don't. The "evening peak" callout only fires when the math agrees they cluster.

What you see is what the math saw. No more, no less.

§ 08 Privacy is the foundation

We never store your health data. It lives on your device and your private iCloud. We can't see it, sell it, or lose it.

The only time anything is transmitted is when you tap to import a lab PDF or generate a report. Processed in the moment to do that one job, then gone. No third-party trackers, no advertising SDKs. The only usage counts we keep, like how many days you have opened the app, stay on your phone and are never sent anywhere.

    • No account on our servers. Sign in with Apple. No email, no password, nothing for us to leak.
    • No trackers, no ad SDKs. Not Google, Meta, Mixpanel, or anyone. Ever.
    • Voice notes are never stored. Transcription happens on device. Only the text is kept.
    • Export everything, anytime. Your full data as JSON, free, never held hostage.
    • Erase everything, everywhere. One tap wipes your device and your iCloud zone. A true fresh start.
    § 09 Who made this

Built for the women who raised me.

I'm the youngest of four, raised by my mother, alongside three older sisters.

I called my mom and my eldest sister and asked them what perimenopause was actually like. What I heard wasn't in any brochure: years of symptoms brushed aside, appointments that ended in a shrug, and - where my family is from - a silence so heavy that many women never even name what's happening to them. The shame fills the space the information should.

I couldn't fix the system in fifteen minutes. But I could build the one thing that walks into the room with you - a record you control, that turns "something's off" into something a doctor has to take seriously. No ads, no data sold, nothing leaving your phone. Just the women in my family, and yours, finally being believed.

    § 10 What it costs

    It's free. Here's the catch.

The whole app is free: Today's Context, your Insights, and your doctor's report. No subscription, no paywall, no locked features. When something that handles your health costs nothing, the fair question is how. Here is the honest answer.

There is no data to sell

Your record lives on your phone and your private iCloud, never on our servers. We could not sell it or hand it to advertisers if we tried, because we never hold it. That is the architecture, not a promise we can quietly change later.

It costs almost nothing to run

Because the work happens on your device, one more woman using the app costs us close to nothing. That is what lets free be honest here, instead of a trap that pays for itself with your attention.

We would rather you be here

Getting women treated instead of dismissed matters more right now than charging for it. If we ever add something optional and paid, we will say so plainly, and everything here stays free.

Free, because the way it is built makes free the honest price.

Free on the App Store. Understand your body, and be believed.
